Hi there!

I've always wondered if it was better to make your own pasta, I always buy dried pasta, is there much difference in taste and texture?

My favourite way to eat pasta is very simple:

cut up 1 or 2 cougettes into small strips and cook them in boiling water for a couple of minutes. When they're done, drain, and place on some kitchen towel, season with a little salt.
meanwhile finely chop a clove of garlic and then fry in a little olive oil until golden. Add the cougettes to the garlic/oil mixture and saute for about 1 minute.
Then add the whole mix to some freshly cooked and drained pasta and mix together. Finish by sprinkling some freshly grated parmesan over the top! Yummy!

You can use this as a side dish, but I love this so much I sometimes just eat it on its own!
