In your dump cake recipe it asks for a stick of butter. I'm from Canada (we don't have butter in sticks) I think that maybe it is one cup but not sure could you please let me know.

[...] To that end I invited a friend of mine over for dinner for an easy to make Indian dinner. My background isn’t east Indian and I am not a great cook of a wide variety of Indian sauces, so I used three different Indian sauces from Sharwood. I had used one a few weeks back and wrote about it on this blog. See that page here. [...]

Delicious! The lemon-herb crust is very similar to a recipe I have used often for Grouper and other similar mild fish. I usually cook it under a broiler, adding the mixture after flipping the fish over the first time. I am embarrassed to say I never thought to try it on the grill!

The citrus salmon sounds awesome as well!

I work at Kitchens on the Square right around the corner from the Lady and Sons restaurant in Savannah GA and it always smells like Paula's got some good stuff cooking over there. This collection of her first two cookbooks is really a gem and deserves a spot in the kitchen of anyone who loves southern food and tradition.
