New Cookbooks – Perfect for the Holidays
We’ve just reviewed a few new cookbooks that I thought I should bring to your attention because they are perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
The Entertaining Encyclopedia: Essential Tips for Hosting the Perfect Party is the perfect book to have on hand for entertaining, with delicious recipes, party themes and lots of tips on hosting the perfect, easy on the host, parties and get-togethers.
The New Thanksgiving Table: An American Celebration of Family, Friends, and Food by Diane Morgan is a perfect cookbook for the holiday season. Don’t let the title fool you. These recipes can be used any time and are just right for Christmas and holiday entertaining and dinners. There is a wonderful selection of recipes for meats, side dishes and desserts.
The Christmas Cookie Jar Cookbook is a delightful cookbook, another in a series from the folks you can trust for great baking at Gooseberry Books. It is full of delicious recipes for cakes, pies, cookies, squares and more, all perfect for the holiday season (or any time actually). All contributed by bakers, so you know they are tested and good.
I have all of them on my cookbook shelf, all with recipes tagged for use this holiday season. I can honestly recommend any of these cookbooks heartily.
